Sean Morgan is moving to Utah, but the canoe cruise must go on without him. Its a highlight of every summer, and i'll help plan it for aug. 14th. it's going to be another grand old time.
This will be a bit of a joke trying to keep track of everything i've done over the last half a year, but here's a small taste. Julie and i almost moved to New York city. We had an offer through her work and my work offered to let me work from home. It was very tempting, but in the end i don't want to leave everything i love about our life here. i think we are both very happy we stayed.
This past weekend we went to Tahoe Donner for francis's b-day. the whole crew rallied and we stayed up late having fun. we biked, kayaked, and swam in the crisp mountain water. I love tahoe in the summer, and it was great to spend the weekend with everyone.
The weekend before we went to ashland, OR with julie's parents for the shakespeare festival. It was beautiful and nice to have a weekend of thearter for a change.
4th of july we went to parties at Demoss's and kevin and josie's. We also went sailing with the fam.
june 26/27 we spent on a houseboat with chris p. and lee and 70 other friendly folks. They had about 25 different dj's take turns spinning on an amazing sound system the whole weekend through. It was fantastic and we met some amazing folks.
The weekend before we spent in Bodega Bay, and the weekend before that we flew to wyoming for a wedding in sheridan on a beautiful ranch.
that's about as far back as the memory goes right now without really sitting down and thinking about it. Julie and I moved in together march 1st, and spent most of that month having people over to show off our beautiful urban oasis. We went to jazz fest in early may and have had one amazing spring and summer.
its good to blog again.
