What a summer it has been. I had an exceptional dinner with linda, harry, and julie in a beautiful condo down by the ballpark. One of her friends coughed up the keys to their pimp palace and it was impressive. I spent saturday bbq'n with the gang at J-birds new pad. I love that house. It is the new home for my beloved fire pit and it is perfect for kicking it.

Let's see. We went to tahoe for Francis's b-day the weekend before. that was an incredible time. He rented a nice little place just past dollar point, very funky with a great hot tub. i love tahoe in the summer.

The weekend before i headed to laguna seca to shoot some video with steve joves. World Superbikes and we were shooting for PJ1.
I think we took some great shots.

I had a great 4th of july. Went sailing with the family. Having fun.

summer has been fantastic, and i love being on the water. have a look at the maiden voyage

the weather has been fantastic for the past several weeks. i was on jury duty hoping not to be picked for a lengthy asbestos trial. it was numbingly tedious at times, but the hours are fantastic. it allowed me to enjoy the sun. i have been having a great time hanging out with julie. we were out on the water last week for a world wildlife fund event, caught a giants/A's game and shook our ass last week.

I went through basic boat training with dale and we took the boat out for the first time. We started across the bay and the sun was blazing, and the wind was lazy. We made our way by pacbell park to the cheers of a packed house. We decided to cross the bay behind alcatraz and that's when things get pick up. Within minutes we are crawling around the boat holding on for dear life trying to furl the sails in anyway we can. The swells grew and the boat tilted while we tried to get our life vests on and head for shelter. Once we made it behind angel island the weather vanished and calm returned. In the process pat took a spill from the top step that looked like a doozy, but she bounced right back. None of the photos give any indication of the 30 minutes of crossing the eye of the perfect storm.
