once again it has been far too long since i checked in and blogged. i can try to play catch up. This past weekend was important. I had a big family reunion at a beach house in santa cruz. It was a big turnout and it felt really good connecting with everyone. We took long walks on the beach, and cooked every type of seafood. I helped dale make a big cioppino with mussels, clams, calamari, monk fish, peppers, onions, tomatillos, cilantro and it was a masterpiece. Spending the weekend just above the crashing surf felt wonderful. I had dreams of surfing big double overhead waves for most of the night.

When I returned, bethany had gone. I wish her the best down south, and will miss her.

what have i done for the last month . . . well i bought a snowboard and then the weather started getting really nice. so nice that i haven't been up, hopefully this weekend. promise to write.
